Amanda Carmen Cromer, founder MADE Tasmania

With a background in advertising, arts administration and journalism, and with more than 13 years’ experience in Sydney’s publishing and media industries, Amanda Carmen is a respected specialist in communications.

Her professional career to date has included such varied roles as: Sydney Morning Herald columnist; Random House illustrated books editor; speechwriter; travel and food journalist; interiors/fashion stylist; location scout; editor, copywriter and proofreader; communications and media manager; magazine director… and a MYER Fashions on the Field/Miss India Australia judge!

Moving back to Tasmania in late 2008 to undertake a Masters degree in communications, she founded the award-winning communications consultancy – MADE Tasmania – to support the state’s arts, tourism, lifestyle and environment sectors.
